Who We Are

Who we are

Set-up in 2004 by Ed Toll, OneFiftyNine has established a reputation for offering insightful as well as impactful creative thinking and execution, reassuring project management and great value for money.

OneFiftyNine has a team of marketing and design professionals who bring a wealth of expertise to our clients’ businesses.

Project Management

  • (owner / founder)

After concluding that a career on the US PGA tour was just out of reach Ed created OneFiftyNine with the sole aim of offering exceptional quality and value to a loyal selection of clients. He’s happiest when rolling his sleeves up and working with clients to discuss, plan and implement their marketing and design solutions.

  • (director)

Chris has 20 years experience of marketing some of the world’s most successful brands including IBM, Philips, 3M, Dow, Halifax, De La Rue, Cass Business School, Marriott and Samsung. He has also been instrumental in the success of many less well-known brands particularly in the property and financial services sector.

  • (account director)

After an early career as a reporter and sub-editor in the newspaper industry, the poacher became a gamekeeper by taking up the challenge of becoming a public relations manager in the health service. Julie spent 15 years supporting a variety of health organisations through major changes and improvements, before setting up her own successful communications consultancy. Julie has wide ranging skills and experience including strategic communications planning, media management, internal communications, and public consultation.

  • (account executive)

Kate is at the centre of virtually every project, supplier payment or office process, and is never happier than when making, or ticking off, one of her world-renowned lists. She’s behind the timely delivery of almost every piece of work, ensuring clients, suppliers and OneFiftyNine staff alike hit their agreed deadlines. Oh, and she’s never without her satsuma flavoured moisturiser!

Creative

  • (creative director)

While Rich’s first passion is snowboarding a very close second is great design. A genius with Photoshop, Rich is responsible for the quality of all OneFiftyNine’s design work. He’s something of a magician, somehow managing to hit every deadline, regardless of how ridiculous. Having said that, it’s amazing he manages to get anything done at all, as, like all great designers, he suffers from the bombardment of ‘friends’ he’s barely ever met asking for invites, cards, plaques, posters and flyers for all manner of events and occasions!

  • (senior designer and web developer)

Liam has been designing for all areas of brand communication and marketing for nine years. His versatile and flexible skill set has enabled him to lead design campaigns across print, online and TV. When Liam’s not working on a design job he’s looking for his next delicious recipe to cook up in the kitchen. The new series of ‘Liam’s Kitchen’ coming sometime next year!!

Development

  • (technical director)

Martin has spent almost 25 years at the leading edge of technology including web, virtual reality, marketing technology, defence and electronics. His career has included developing software at Apple and Racal (now Thales), as well as lead roles at a number of smaller technology businesses. Because of his experience Martin is able to quickly understand a client's business and develop solutions that truly fit, and he possesses that rare ability to communicate highly technical issues to non-technical people.

  • (web developer)

Born in Hungary, he has been on the road since he turned 18. After living in Canada and the US for a few years he finally settled in London in 2004. He graduated from Qantm College in web development in 2008 and moved straight into an internship at Artdivision. Peter is passionate about typography, grid-based design and above all keeping things clear and simple - design with simplicity at its core.

When he gets time to himself he enjoys nothing more than exploring the open road on his motorcycle with his camera along for the ride just in case he comes across some picturesque landscapes.
