Merry Christmas

We have decided again this year to put the money we would normally spend on client gifts towards another great cause at Tower Bridge Primary School.  The school struggles to find the funds for essential equipment and has asked us to help them improve their basic range of sporting equipment with some junior tennis packs. Who knows, we could be nurturing the skills of the next Andy Murray!

Merry Christmas to all our clients and friends and we wish you all the best for the New Year.

Peter Kincses joins the team

We have great pleasure in welcoming the newest member of the OneFiftyNine team, Peter Kincses, as our in house web developer.

As a recent graduate of Qantm College in web development, Peter comes to us full of ideas and bursting with enthusiasm.  He's a talented developer and we are looking forward to letting him loose on all our web projects.  Welcome to the team Peter!

The office gets green(er)

OneFiftyNine's very own wormery arrived to add to our already green credentials. The worms were happy to get to work after several days held up in the post due to the recent strikes. Oops! They seem to have fully recovered now though, and once we can think of the 500 names for them we'll post them here!

The games room expands

It's important to keep staff and clients alike happy! And with that in mind OneFiftyNine's games room received a sophisticated boost this month with a kindly donated billiards table from our emigrating neighbours. Competing for attention alongside the pinball machine and various other "boys' toys", Rich has been the first to master the table with a leading score far beyond that of the rest of us. Signs of a misspent youth perhaps?! Get back behind the Mac Rich and do some blinking work, no one likes a smart arse.

Lewis Hamilton, pah!

Our very own Ed toll showed Lewis Hamilton a thing or two when he visited Brands Hatch for a recent track day. In fairness we're pretty sure Lewis has got nothing to worry about, the camera man did well to get a shot of him without a line of cars queued up behind him as he cautiously negotiated the corners as though he was on the home stretch of his driving test! We'll save him his blushes by not publishing his track times.

December 2008

OneFiftyNine continues to do pro-bono work with Tower Bridge Primary School by designing posters for both the Tower Bridge Primary Winter Fair and Christmas carol concerts. This year we also decided to donate the money that would usually be spent on Christmas presents for our clients to Tower Bridge Primary’s children and community kitchen project.
